I was lucky enough to speak to the delightful and energetic Nicky Harverson about her solo cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End. One of the things that really struck home for me was when she was describing her hardest day and she said: “solo is not alone”. She found strength from those around her and it made me think that we should all remember to reach out when we are struggling and feel alone.
Nicky shared her inspirational story and some wonderful anecdotes about the people and places she came across.
