Inner Wisdom Project – Ambition

Inner Wisdom Project Part 1 - Ambition

During a meditation the other day I had the idea to record myself talking about different topics, with no plan, just seeing what comes up as I talked.  Straight away I put a message out on my Facebook page asking for topics to explore, and I had a great response.  Read on to find out what the topics were and what I’ve learned so far from this experiment.

I’ve been watching a lot of videos by Kyle Cease on YouTube lately (here’s a link to his channel if you’d like to check his work out for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/user/kylecease).  Kyle talks a lot about how the easiest thing in the world is to say what you’re thinking, rather than saying what you think people want to hear.

Kyle organises three day events, with no real plan of what he’s going to talk about, he just allows it to unfold and says that he learns as much from it as the audience – that’s why he calls it “evolving out loud”!  I find this concept really exciting!

Well, I had this idea about doing a bit of that myself and this morning I recorded my first attempt at accessing my own inner wisdom – about ambition.  Surprisingly (to me) I did get into a kind of flow quite quickly and you can hear that by the number of ‘ums’ which greatly reduce as I continue talking.  I had no idea what I was going to say and now I’ve listened back, I realise I was indeed evolving my thoughts about ambition as I was speaking.  Amazing!

I invite you to listen to this recording of my thoughts and be aware of what you can take from it.  You might not agree with everything I say, but there will be some nugget that you can use and evolve for yourself...set yourself the intention of finding that nugget.

Thanks for listening!  What did you get from that?  Did you find it as fascinating as I did, that I had no prior knowledge that I was going to say all of that?  Where did it come from?  How might you begin to access your own inner wisdom?

So far you have suggested ambition, excitement and confidence as topics for me to explore, and I’d love to have you give me some more, because I really did learn something meaningful from creating this audio, as I hope you did from listening to it.  Please head over and ‘like’ my Facebook page so that you can get involved in this somewhat crazy project and help me choose more topics to evolve out loud. >>click here<< to go to my page.

Huge thanks for listening and also massive gratitude to Kyle Cease for being the inspiration for my Inner Wisdom project.  Please share this post and future editions on Facebook and Twitter, with the intention of touching more lives and maybe helping others to get in touch with their own inner wisdom.  Use the hashtag #InnerWisdomProject and let’s see how far we can spread the word 🙂

With gratitude
